WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COACHING AND THERAPY?
Therapy is a form of mental health treatment designed to address issues such as clinical anxiety, depression, addiction, or trauma. Coaching provides the tools, structure, accountability, and clarity to define your unique authentic best-self vision. Together we’ll work to understand why you’re not there, and create a strategic course to help you get there and stay there. We’ll examine lifestyle, relationships, daily routine, and patterns.
HOW CAN I WORK WITH YOU AS MY COACH?
The first step is to book a complementary coaching session, where we will explore what it could look like to work together. We will both get a feel for whether or not we are a good fit to work together, and whether or not coaching would benefit you at this point in your life. By the end of the call, if we both feel we are a good fit, I will make a recommendation for frequency and duration of coaching, based on what you’d like to accomplish through our work together.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO GET OUT OF COACHING?
With coaching, you can expect to feel better mentally, physically, and spiritually. Examining your life, thinking about who you are, how you got that way, and having a plan for where you want to go will no doubt make you a happier person. You will ultimately be empowered to create the change you want within yourself and your surroundings. Commitment to attending the agreed appointments on time. Commitment to the work and being open to the process. Taking responsibility for doing the assigned tasks between sessions. It is often this work, along with reflection between sessions which brings the greatest clarity.
