I’m Jessica Kirschner, the founder of Mindful Modern Living, and I’m passionate about supporting others on their wellness journey. My path to coaching was shaped by my own personal struggles with stress, anxiety, and burnout.
For years, I pushed through. I poured myself into work, managing teams, building my career, trying to do all the “right” things yet beneath the surface, I felt chronically stressed, anxious, and unfulfilled.
I wanted to feel better, but I didn’t know where to start. I was searching for something beyond just medication, something that would actually help me build a healthier, more sustainable way of moving through life. That’s when I discovered Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and signed up for an eight-week course at Cambridge Health Alliance in Massachusetts. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was desperate for something to change. And it did.
For the first time, I was learning tools that actually worked. How to listen to my body, how to work with my mind instead of against it, how to shift the way I responded to stress. Those eight weeks changed the trajectory of my life. From there, my curiosity deepened.
My Training & Certifications
I hold a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati, where I first began exploring human behavior and mental health. I then completed my 300-hour yoga teacher training at World Peace Yoga in Cincinnati, Ohio. I later went on to pursue certification in Sound Healing under Charlie Christie (Thyme with Charlie) in the United Kingdom, a transformative experience that has been pivotal to my approach. In addition, I completed my certification as a Master Health and Wellness Coach through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute (American Council on Exercise (ACE)), where I gained in-depth knowledge in behavioral health and lifestyle coaching. Since then, I have become a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC).
These experiences have shaped my holistic, integrative approach to wellness, allowing me to combine science-backed techniques with mindfulness practices to guide others on their path to well-being.
